Craghoppers started in 1965 when a group of guys from Yorkshire were planning on climbing Everest and wanted suitable outdoor clothing that would equip them for the harshest conditions. Before setting off on their mission of climbing Everest, they researched and designed fabrics that would protect them from the extreme cold, and Craghoppers was born!

Now based in Manchester, Craghoppers continue today to develop new fabrics suitable for protecting outdoor walkers and hikers from heat and cold.

Craghoppers offer a huge range of fabrics to support you in all of your outdoor activities. The Gortex range is waterproof, windproof and permeable for water vapour (perspiration).
