We've compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions to help you while you shop at skiwear4less. If you have a question or query, please have a look and see if the answer is on this page. How can your prices be so cheap?
We buy in bulk, cut out the middle man and import direct from the factory to give you value for money you won't believe! Why shop anywhere else? We have the cheapest prices right here at skiwear4less.com
What are your Delivery Charges?
Delivery charges vary depending on the type of products that you order.

Lightweight products, such as hats, gloves, goggles & small accessories can be sent via Royal Mail for a delivery charge of £2.99. If your order qualifies for this postage charge, it will appear in the delivery drop down menu when you reach the checkout.

Our standard delivery charge for ski wear & accessories is £5.99, with a delivery time of 2 - 3 working days.

Our standard delivery charge for skis & snowboards is £9.99, with a delivery time of 2 - 3 working days.

Please note: Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland & Channel Islands have their own postage costs set which will be shown at the checkout stage. Prices displayed here are for UK mainland only.

International shipping is available to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. Exact pricing is dependent upon the volumetric weight of the items ordered and may differ from the price quoted on Check Out. I don't like using my card online, is your website secure?
Yes, our website is completely secure. All payments are completed through HSBC secure e-payments. Secure ePayments utilise 128 bit SSL encryption to process card transactions and have recently won the Credit Card Awards 2007 for Best Security/Anti-Fraud Development.
We are now also accepting payments through PayPal, so if you prefer to shop using your PayPal account, you can now do so on skiwear4less.com
I've got too many items in my shopping cart! How can I amend the quantity of items?
It's very quick and simple to edit the contents of your shopping cart, simply click 'view cart', which can be found at the top of the right column. This will display the contents of your shopping cart. If you wish to reduce a quantity - perhaps you accidentally added 2 items instead of 1 - simply change the number in the quantity box to the desired amount and click the 'update' button.
I want to remove some items from my shopping cart, how do I do that?
It's very quick and simple to edit the contents of your shopping cart, simply click 'view cart' which can be found at the top of the right column. This will display the contents of your shopping cart. To remove items from the cart, simple check the 'remove' box next to the item(s) you wish to remove and then click the 'update' button underneath.
I proceed to checkout but the payment will not complete. Has my order been received?
If you are having problems ordering online or you're unsure if your order has completed, please feel free to call us on 0871 226 3347 and we'll be happy to double check that we have received yo
ur order.
Why have I been debited for an item that I haven't receieved yet?
Due to the nature of our payment service, HSBC Secure Epayments, full payment has to be debited for orders, even if some lines are not in stock at present. These items will be despatched to you as soon as we recieve the expected goods. If for any reason the item(s) can not be despatched at a later date, credit will be applied through HSBC.
I would like to return an item for an exchange/refund. How do I do this?
If for any reason you decide not to keep an item purchased by mail order, you can return it for a refund or an exchange. Please return it to us within 14 days of receipt to the address indicated on your invoice. Items must be returned in their original and unused condition. Please include a note indicating the following information:
- Your name, address and order number
- Why you are returning the item
- What you would like to happen, e.g. an exchange (including details of items you'd like in exchange) or a refund.

Items bought in stores may be exchanged or a credit note given for the value of the goods.

Please note, refunds are not given in stores unless the goods do not comply with the Sale of Goods Act.

Once skis have been drilled for bindings they can not be returned for an exchange or refund.

In the unlikely event that your tent is faulty, we reserve the right to repair or replace. Please return the item to our head office address with a full description of the fault and we will contact the manufacturer on your behalf.
If I want to return an item, who pays the postage?
We do not have pre-paid return labels. Return postage for an exchange or refund is the customers responsibility. However, exchanged goods are despatched without any further postal charges.
I leave for my holiday in a few days. Will I get my goods in time?
In this scenario, the best option would be to advise us when you make your order so that we can prioritise for our 48 hour courier service.
I'm not sure which skis would be best for me!
If you're not sure which skis would be best for you, then why not pop into one of our stores? Our friendly, helpful staff will be more than happy to offer you the best advice on which skis would be best for your ability. Alternatively, send us a message on the contact form or call us on 0871 226 3347 and we will be more than happy to offer you some great advice.
Do you service skis/boards?
Yes we do, if you visit your nearest branch we will be happy to service your skis/board.
